We absolutely loved having Bethany as our doula! I can't count the number of times that I have said "I couldn't have done it without Bethany!" From the way she prepared us before labor to her presence and support during labor, she made me feel more able than I ever would have thought I could be. To say that I’m grateful to have had Bethany by my side while I gave birth to my daughter isn’t enough. My unmedicated birth was the hardest yet most amazing thing I’ve ever done in my life. I was adamant about having an unmedicated birth and Bethany helped me with so many different ways to help with the pain. There were times when I doubted myself and felt that I couldn’t do it, but Bethany never doubted me. I delivered my daughter completely natural and I’ve never been more proud of myself. This experience was challenging, painful, exhausting, but also the most rewarding, beautiful, and special thing I’ve ever done. I will be doing a natural birth for my next baby and I would love for Bethany to be apart of it again. I cannot recommend her enough. My husband was also thankful to have had her by our side, he said she was very informative and he was grateful to have someone to explain what was going on. He said it made him feel much calmer. Again, we are so thankful to have had her help.

What I love most about Bethany is her calm in the midst of the storm. She kept calm and collected when my husband and I allowed fear to take over. She was right by my side, talked us through what was happening, moved me into a better position to help with our baby's heart rate, then helped me gain control again so that I could deliver my baby! We have talked so much about how empowering she was! I could not have done this without her!

Bethany was an incredible doula for my husband and me. She was completely dedicated to making sure I felt supported, heard, and cared for throughout the entire labor process — and she truly never left my side. Her massages are AMAZING, and her soft, yet steady and encouraging voice helped carry me through every contraction.

My husband was also incredibly grateful to have Bethany in the room, as it allowed him to be present in different, meaningful ways while she attentively managed my acute pain needs.

For my birth, we had a scheduled induction with a cervical balloon, miso, and pitocin. I used various pain relief options including nitrous, IV fentanyl, and an epidural. While some doulas can be critical of more medicalized births, I never once felt judged by Bethany. She was supportive of every choice and focused solely on ensuring I felt empowered and cared for.

As strong Christians, my husband and I were especially thankful that Bethany shared our faith. At our request, she prayed for and with us during prenatal visits, throughout labor, and after our baby girl arrived — which meant the world to us.

We can’t recommend Bethany enough. She was a constant source of strength, calm, and compassion in one of the most intense and beautiful moments of our lives.

Having Bethany as my doula was the best decision ever! She was the support I needed to have an unmedicated birth. She helped me get through every single contraction and kept me focused.
